🚚 Shipping & Service Policy

1. Delivery Areas

Daily Needs currently operates two delivery zones:

• Local zone: Our home service area — the complete product catalog is available with fast doorstep delivery by our own riders.
• Nationwide zone: Selected products marked as eligible for nationwide shipping can be delivered across Pakistan via courier partners.

Your delivery address determines which catalog and charges apply. Products that cannot travel safely (fresh, frozen, or fragile items) are limited to the local zone.

2. Delivery Timings & Speed

• Local zone: Same-day delivery, typically within 2–4 hours of order confirmation during service hours.
• Nationwide: 2–5 working days depending on the destination city and courier service.

Orders placed outside service hours are confirmed and dispatched the following morning. Delivery times are estimates — weather, traffic, or high order volume may occasionally cause delays.

3. Delivery Charges

• Local orders: A flat delivery charge applies, and is waived on orders above the free-delivery threshold shown at checkout.
• Nationwide orders: Charged by weight — Rs. 200 per kg for cash on delivery and Rs. 150 per kg for prepaid orders (EasyPaisa, card or wallet). The total weight of your cart is rounded up to the next whole kg (minimum 1 kg). This charge applies regardless of order value.
• Buy Now Pay Later orders: Delivery is charged per kilometer and is never free.

The exact charge for your order is always shown in the order summary before you confirm — no hidden fees.

4. Order Tracking

Once your order is confirmed, you can follow its progress in real time from the Orders section of the app or website:

• Status updates as your order is confirmed, packed, picked by the rider, and delivered.
• Live rider location on the map while your order is out for delivery (local orders).
• Courier tracking details for nationwide shipments.

5. Nationwide Shipping

• Only items available for nationwide shipping appear in your catalog when your location is outside our local delivery zone.
• Buy Now Pay Later is not available on nationwide orders.
• Nationwide parcels are dispatched via trusted courier partners; delivery timelines depend on the destination.

6. Order Minimums & Service Hours

• A minimum order amount may apply — the current threshold is shown in your cart.
• Our service hours are displayed in the app and on the website. Orders placed after closing time are processed the next day.

7. Failed Deliveries & Delays

• If our rider cannot reach you at the provided address or phone number, the order may be rescheduled or cancelled after repeated attempts.
• Please keep your phone reachable on the delivery day — the rider may call to confirm directions.
• If a delay is expected on our side, we'll notify you as early as possible.
• For perishable items, repeated failed deliveries may result in cancellation without refund where the fault lies with an unreachable customer.
